Initial Set Up Fees range from $600 for new plans to $1,200 for existing or takeover plans. This fee includes the plan design, plan prototype document, enrollment meeting material to introduce the plan to participants, and most filings with he IRS. Annual Ongoing Operation fees range from $950 to $1,250 annually and in most cases include amendments to the plan document, and 'signature ready' 5500 forms as required. Participant fees will range from $12 to $24 annually depending on the plan size, valuation method, and design. these fees are usually paid by each plan participant deducted from their accounts on a quarterly basis. Asset Management Fees are generally deducted from each participant account and will vary based on the size of the plan, the type of fund, and the investment provider.
